Muscle tissue
cells are called muscle fibers and have the ability to contract and stretch
allowing various body movements.
Muscle tissue can be of three types: Smooth: involuntary and not fluted, it can be found on the walls of internal organs Skeletal striatum: Voluntary, striatum attaches to bones Striated cardiac: Involuntary striated, is found in the heart.
